Bhairav Kund Trek is one of the recently opened and finest short camping treks with pristine mountain views, rich culture, art and genuine adventure, unsurpassed natural beauty, endangers wild lives, untouched traditional villages, landscapes and biological diversity. Bhairav Kund is named after the destructive aspect of Lord Shiva and is one of the sacred pilgrimage sites for Shamans pilgrimage site through untouched traditional villages in spectacular Himalayan landscapes to reach the holy lake Bhairav Kunda which is located to the northeast of kathmandu and closer to Nepal Tibet border. Jalbire, the starting point for this trek is a five to six hour bus drive from Kathmandu towards the Tibetan border. We travel through a mixture of beautiful mountain scenery and the terraced fields and characteristic houses of rural villages from different ethnic groups. You will spend your fist night with experiencing the Newari culture of Jalbire, as soon as you got Jalbire your guide will give a short talk on trekking altitude sickness and the highlights of the trek inclusive the holy Bhairav Kund, the incredible Himalayan scenery and the life style of nomadic people unchanged by time. Your trail winds along an old trade route between Nepal and Tibet. Through a number of unspoilt Buddhist villages, past Chortens and Sherpa’s houses. The unusual climatic and geographical mix makes this area a naturalist’s dream and a Mecca for those who appreciate traditional cultures. Along the trail you will experience spectacular views of mountains in Nepal the Jugal Himal section of the Himalayan Range, Dorje Lakpa (6966), Madiya (6257M) and Phurbi Ghhyachu (6637m) and beautiful mountain range beyond the Nepal to Tibet. You will come across mostly with Tamang, Sherpa and Yolmo peoples and their typical culture, traditions, own interesting dialect whose way of life is unique even in this 21st century. This high altitude lake is one of the secret pilgrimage sites for the Shamans. Every Janai Purnima (Full Moon) of the Year is joyful and memorable; Shamans come in traditional uniform to perform their dances and spiritual healing.

Itinerary in details
Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu and meet our SNFT representative at the airport and transfer to Hotel. Welcome drink and short briefing, relax
Day 2: Full day Sightseeing in world heritage sites with Tour Guide by private car. Overnight in Hotel.
Day 3: Drive from Kathmandu to Jalbire 1040m with local bus (6/7 hours). Overnight at tented camp.
Day 4: Trek from Jalbire to Chanaute 1350m (4/5 hours). Overnight at tented camp.
Day 5: Trek from Chanaute to Khanigaon 2000m (6/7 hours). Overnight at tented camp.
Day 6: Exploration day and village tour with Guide. Overnight at tented camp.
Day 7: Trek from Khanigaon to Forest Camp 3150m (6/7 hours). Overnight at tented camp.
Day 8: Trek from Forest Camp to Pati 3765m (5/6 hours). Overnight at tented camp.
Day 9: Trek from Pati to Bhairav Kund 4364m (3/4 hours). Overnight at tented camp.
Day 10: Trek from Bhairav Kund to Sherpagaon 2500m (6/7 hours). Overnight at tented camp.
Day 11: Trek from Sherpagaon to Larcha 1500m (2/3 hours) and visit Hot Spring. Overnight at tented camp.
Day 12: Drive from Larchha to Kathmandu with local Bus (5/6 hours) and transfer to Hotel.
Day 13: Full day Sightseeing in world heritage sites with Tour Guide by private car. Overnight in Hotel.
Day 14: Departure to International Airport

There will be a cancellation fee of 25% for any cancellation three weeks prior to Tour departure date, 50% two weeks prior to Tour departure date and no refund thereafter. No refund for no shows & delay arrivals whatsoever reason.
