Gandruk Circuit Family Lodge Trek, 10 Days
The Gandruk Circuit, is a famous short trek in the Annapurna area. It is a rather easy and peaceful trek. This trek is also very enjoyable and nice for children with their parents. It is famous for its culture, geographical diversity and spectacular views of mountains and stone built villages. Basically Gandruk village is also called Konda Village in the local language and it means Stone Village. Trekkers hopefully enjoy and are happy on those trekking trails, because of the clean stone steps up and downhill, close view of mountains and Rhododendron flowers in the spring season. We organize and offer this trek to families who want to have an unforgettable time with their children in the Nepal Himalayas. Trekkers can see various high mountains such as Annapurna South 7219m, Machhapuchre 6993m, Hiun Chuli 6441m, Annapurna III 7555m and Gandarba chuli 6248m etc.

Itinerary in details
Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu and meet our staff at the airport and transfer to Hotel. Welcome drink and short briefing, relax.
Day 2: Sightseeing Tour of the world heritage sites.
Our tour guide introduces you to the world heritage sites such as Bouddhanath, Pasupatinath, Swayambhunath by private vehicle. Overnight in hotel.
Day 3: Kathmandu to Pokhara 820m by flight.
In the morning flight with scenic mountain views including Langtang, Ganesh Himal, Manaslu and Annapurna Massif and once reach the Pokhara valley, some sight seeing in Pokhara with your guide. Overnight in Hotel.
Day 4: Drive from Pokhara to Kimche via Nayapul and trek to Ghandruk 1940m (2/3 hours).
Drive 2 and half hour by private car to Kimche via Nayapul and begin your trek from Kimche with gently climbing many many stone steps till you reach the large Ghandruk village(2h). You have a very good view of Fish Tail, Annapurna South and other smaller snow peaks. In the evening time you should go with your guide to visit the monastery and the old Gurung museum. Overnight in Lodge.
Day 5: Trek from Ghandruk to Chhumrong 2170m (4/5 hours).
Morning after breakfast with the spectacular views of Annapurna South, Hiun Chuli, Gangapurna, Annapurna III and Machhapuchhre, The you will walk through the village for a while and leave the village passing several water mills to the small stream which takes just 30 minutes. Then you will gently climb on stonestaircase until reaching Kimrung Danda from where you still can be seen all the mountain very closely. It takes about 45 minutes to reach then. Now you will climb down to Kimrung Khola through the forest of oak and firs for an hour. You will cross the suspension bridge and start steep climbing up to the ridge which takes about 1 and half hour. Then after you walk on the level trail to Chhumrong and it takes about an hour. The views of mountain will be very closed from this large settlement of Gurung people. Overnight in Lodge.
Day 6: Trek from Chhumrong to Landruk 1565m (5/6 hours).
In the morning after breakfast, you'll leave this unique village. The trail descents steeply to Jhinu Danda about 1 and half hours. This place also known as Hot Spring due to it has small natural hot spring just down to the river which takes about 25 minutes walk down where you can take natural hot bathe in the ponds and back. Then after you will again steep walk down to the small stream and gntly walk through the bushes of nettle until reaching at New Bridge which takes about an hour. You will make your lunch break here. After lunch, you will walk for a while and cross above the Modi Khola and walk along the Modi Khola passing small water fall and several hanging bridge. until reaching Landruk Village. It takes about 1 and half hour. During the walk you can see hanging bee hives in the Rock walls. Overnight in Lodge.
Day 7: Trek from Landruk to Dampus 1650m (5/6 hours).
The trail ascends gradually up until Tolka and you will climb the steep slope and zigzag up through the forests until you reach Deurali village. It takes about 3 hours, you have lunch there. After lunch, you descend the gentle ridge to Pothana. You keep descending the stone stepped path and you will reach in Dampus village after 2 hours. Overnight in Lodge.
Day 8: Trek from Dampus to Phedi and drive back to Pokhara 820m (2/3 hours).
Today, you will get back to the Pokhara valley, descending the stone steps again. Finnaly you will arrive in Phedi, after about 3 hours. From there you return back to Pokhara by private car. Overnight in hotel.
Day 9: Fly from Pokhara to Kathmandu.
Morning after breakfast, our car will pick you up from the hotel and transfer to Pokhara airport and flight back to Kathmandu with scenic views of Annapurna massif, Lamjung Himal, Manaslu range, Ganesh Himal range and Langtang Himal for 25 minutes flight time and transfer to Hotel.
Day 10: After breakfast transfer to international Airport

|Easy trekking by Himalayan standards is generally up to 2000m. There are plenty of ups and downs on well-maintained trails. This type of trip is best suited for those who lead a reasonably active life. The trek takes about 3 to 7 days, walking about 4 to 5 hours a day.|
|This involves longer treks (five to ten days) on maintained trails. This type of trek includes day excursions to higher elevations, for which it's advisable to have some previous hill- walking experience. On these treks, we generally achieve an altitude between 900m to 3000m.|
(Moderate to strenuous)
|A reasonably demanding trek at an altitude up to 4000m with side trips to higher elevations. The trails are sometimes uncharted and away from inhabited areas.|
|These treks must be fully supported. We climb to altitudes between 3500 and 5000m. & there are overnight stays at altitudes above 4000m. For this trek, trekkers should be fit & enthusiastic hill walkers prepared to tackle difficult terrain in remote areas.|
|This trek is best described as Alpine, and suitable is suitable for those in excellent health, capable of carrying a backpack, when required. The trek covers very remote areas, traveling over snow-covered passes at an altitudes of up to 6500m. You will need to axes and crampons. No strenuous trek should be undertaken without medical clearance.|

There will be a cancellation fee of 25% for any cancellation three weeks prior to Tour departure date, 50% two weeks prior to Tour departure date and no refund thereafter. No refund for no shows & delay arrivals whatsoever reason.
