High Remote and Difficult Tilman’s Pass (Langtang-Rolwaling Valley) Camping Trek, 22 Days
This is a trekking destinations for the trekkers who have the desire to enjoy the nature at its best in the most remote area of the Langtang Region in the Nepal Himalayas. This trek connects two different Himalaya regions the Lang,tang and Rolwaling with Panch Pokhari (Five Holy Lakes).
This trek offers a splendid breathtaking Langtang Valley view with its surrounding mountains, old Buddhist monasteries,a small Cheese Factory, glaciers, the snow covered high Tilman pass, the beautiful Five Lakes, the authentic living style of the rural people and fantastic wildlife. We have an excellent view of Langtang Lirung, Nayakhang, Yala Peak, Gangchembu, DorjeLakpa, Langshisa Ri, Shishapangma, Ganja-La Peak, Ghaurishankar, Ganesh Himal and Rolwaling Himal. After Tilman we trek crossing the Langshisha glacier visiting the five sacred lakes of Panch Pokhari and the extremely remote Jugal Himal, home of the blue sheep and the red panda. The trek takes us past the rocky peaks of Kanshurum, Urkinmang and Ganchenpo.
There is this anekdote.
A long time ago in Kerung, Tibet, an old Lama and his wife, Dorjee and Lakpa, had an ox they loved, but it ran away along the banks of the upper Trisuli, past Rasuwa, down to where the Langtang Khola joins the river and up into the Langtang valley. The couple followed the ox ’s spirit trail left as magic marks in the snow. They chased the ox past the holy ground of Kyangjing Gompa towards the mountain of Langtang Ri and on a large flat rock that sat in the khola, killed it out of sheer frustration. Today the rock is covered in red moss and lichen which grew out of the animal’s blood. The couple was so upset at their stupidity that they changed form and their spirits flew into the mountains to become the twin peaks of Dorjee Lakpa.
Please be prepared for a strenous trek in a remote and wild part of the Langtang National Park.

Itinerary in details
Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu and meet SNFT representative at the airport and transfer to Hotel. Welcome drink and short briefing, relax
Day 2: Full Day Sightseeing in Kathmandu valley with Tour Guide by private car. Overnight at Hotel in Kathmandu.
Day 3: Drive from Kathmandu to Syabrubesi 1460m (7/8 hours) with private car. Overnight at tented camp.
Day 4: Trek from Syabrubesi to Lama Hotel 2324m (5/6 hours). Overnight at tented camp.
Day 5: Trek from Lama Hotel to Langtang 3330m (4/5 hours). Overnight at tented camp.
Day 6: Trek from Langtang to Kyanjin Gompa 3730m (2/3 hours). Overnight at tented camp.
Day 7: Acclimatization day and hike to Tsergo-Ri. Overnight at tented camp.
Day 8: Trek from Kyanjin Gompa to Langshisa Kharka 4080m (4/5 hours). Overnight at tented camp.
Day 9: Trek from Langshisa Kharka to Moraine Camp 4580m (4/5 hours)
Day 10: Trek from Moraine Camp to Yak Kharka 4825m via Tilman’s Pass 5320m (6/7 hours). Overnight at tented camp.
Day 11: Trek from Yak KHarka to Tinpokhari 3735m (4/5 hours). Overnight at tented camp.
Day 12: Trek from Tinpokhari to Panch Pokhari 4060m (5/6 hours). Overnight at tented camp.
Day 13: Exploring the Five Lakes and surrounding Valley. Overnight at tented camp.
Day 14: Trek from Panch Pokhari to Nasimpati 3631m (3/4 hours). Overnight at tented camp.
Day 15: Trek from Nasimpati to Hile Bhanjyang 3414m (4/5 hours). Overnight at tented camp.
Day 16: Trek from Hile Bhanjyang to Pauwabas 3024m (6/7 hours). Overnight at tented camp.
Day 17: Trek from Pauwabas to Kami Kharka 2855m (6/7 hours). Overnight at tented camp.
Day 18: Trek from Kami Kharka to Sano Okhareni 2043m (5/6 hours). Overnight at tented camp.
Day 19: Trek from Sano Okhareni to Chautara 1418m (4/5 hours). Overnight at tented camp.
Day 20: Drive from Chautara to Kathmandu with private car (5/6 hours) and transfer to Hotel in Kathmandu.
Day 21: Full day Sightseeing in Bhaktapur and Patan City with Tour Guide by private car. Overnight at Hotel in Kathmandu.
Day 22: Departure to International Airport

* Any kind of alcoholic drinks, cold drinks, laundry, phone call, internet.
* Personal Trekking Equipments like sleeping bags, jackets (can all be hired in KTM)
* Emergency Evacuation (Helicopter Rescue).
* Any costs which arise due to a change of the itinerary, because of landslides, political disturbance, and
strikes etc.
* Any other costs whatsoever, that is not mentioned in the cost included.
* Horse renting and additional porters due to natural calamities during the trek.
