Yala Peak Climbing in Nepal is one the most beautiful peaks situated in the Langtang region. Situated in the central section of Himalayas in Nepal, Yala Peak Climbing serves visitors with the panoramic views of high mountains like Langtang Lirung (7227m), Dorje Lakpa (6996m), Gangchempo (6388m) and Shishapangma (8013m). The trekking route through the popular Langtang valley follows many rivers, waterfalls and the alpine vegetation.

Yala peak is situated at the border of Tibet and Nepal providing the visitors with the views of high mountains of both Tibet and Nepal. Our journey of Yala Peak climbing Itinerary starts with a scenic drive from Kathmandu to Syabrubensi. We will trek along the path ascending through the beautiful forests and small settlements of this region. Yala Peak Climbing in Nepal along this region, we will get the chance to visit the Cheese Factory and many Buddhist monasteries which reflect the Tibetan-Buddhist culture. We can enjoy the lifestyle of local ethnic communities and learn about the heritage and history of their culture. Crossing the beautiful Lama Hotel, Langtang village, and Kyanjin Gumba we reach the Yala Base Camp. Tserko-Ri is a great trip to acclimatize ourselves in the elevated region. We can see the tantalizing mountain ranges atop the Yala Peak and following the awe-inspiring moment, we will descend back to Syabrubensi. Langtang is one of the most adventurous and wonderful climbing regions naturally attracting a great many tourists to its wonders. With the trail running through the inhabiting Tamang villages, the peak climbing trip roars with the riches of the marvelous Langtang region. It is also the easiest peak we can ascend without having any prior knowledge of mountain climbing.

Trekking and Climbing Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu 1338m

On your arrival at Kathmandu International Airport, one of our airport representatives will greet you with a warm welcome and drive you to your hotel in a private jeep. Take proper rest and prepare for the journey ahead. Overnight at a 4-star hotel in Kathmandu. 

Day 2: Drive from Kathmandu to Syabrubensi 1467m/6 hours by private vehicle
Today, we will leave for Syabrubensi in the early morning from Kathmandu and it will nearly take 6 hours long drive to reach there. We will drive in the north direction along the Trishuli Khola crossing Dhunche village on our way to Syabrubensi. If the day is clear we can get the glimpses of high mountains like Manaslu (8163m), Annapurna (8091m) and Ganesh Himal (7422m) on our way. The winding ascending roads will take us to the village of Syabrubensi. Overnight at a lodge in Syabrubensi.

Day 3: Trek from Syabrubesi to Lama Hotel 2410m/6 hours
After breakfast, we will start our very first-day trek to Lama Hotel. The trail ascends and descends through the rhododendron and oak forests following the Bhote Koshi River and then the Langtang Khola. We will cross the Bamboo village on our way. We cross a small local suspension bridge before arriving at Lama Hotel. On reaching Lama Hotel we will check in to a cozy lodge at the famous trekking stopover of this region. Overnight at a lodge in Lama Hotel.

Day 4: Trek from Lama Hotel to Langtang Village 3430m/5 hours
Along trekking day is waiting ahead. We will ascend a height through the winding roads over the Langtang Khola. The trail continues through the mountainous landscapes crossing the beautiful pink and red rhododendron forests. We will continue through the winding and be ascending trail crossing many temporary settlement areas used by the herders for grazing their livestock in summer and spring to our destination Langtang Village. Overnight at a lodge in Langtang Village.

Day 5: Trek from Langtang Village to Kyanjin Gumba 3830m/3 hours
We will start our trek early in the morning so that we will reach our destination by lunchtime. The air becomes really thin so we need to acclimatize to the environment. We will encounter a huge Mani wall on our way which will lead us up to the small village of Mandu. The trail continues along the mountainous landscapes with many waterfalls. On reaching we will explore the area a bit. Overnight at a lodge in Kyanjin Gumba.

Day 6: Acclimatization day, hike to Tserko-Ri 4984m/6 hours
Today we will rest and acclimatize ourselves. We will visit the Monastery and the famous cheese factory in the morning and then we will ascend to Tserko-Ri which is just behind the village. A beautiful panoramic view of the snow-capped mountains of the Langtang range can be seen from here. After capturing some images and enjoying the scenic view, we will descend back to Kyanjin Gumba. Overnight at a lodge in Kyanjin Gumba.

Day 7: Trek from Kyanjin Gumba to Yala Base Camp 4600m/6 hours 
The winding roads along the mountainous landscapes continue up to the Yala Base Camp. A six-hour continuous climb over the hills will take us to our destination. We will have proper rest so that we are prepared for the tomorrow’s climb. We will stay in a tented camp tonight there aren’t any settlements in this area. Overnight at a tented camp in Yala Base Camp.

Day 8: Summit to Yala Peak 5500m and back to Kyanjin Gumba 3830m/8 hours
Early in the morning, we will have our breakfast and head towards the Yala Peak, our destination of the trek. The winding roads will take us to the top of the summit from where we can enjoy the clear view of high mountains and beautiful views of the tranquil landscapes of the Langtang region. The surrounding Himalayas include Langtang Lirung (7227m), Langtang II (6596m), and numerous other peaks. After enjoying the views and capturing the beautiful moment in our camera, we start to descend to Kyanjin Gumba. We must be careful while descending as the loose ridges may slip. On reaching Kyanjin Gumba we will check in a lodge and take a proper rest. Overnight at a lodge in Kyanjin Gumba.

Day 9: Reserve Day for climbing in case of bad weather 
The weather in the Himalayan is unpredictable more often than not. This day is reserved as an alternative day to climb the Yala peak if the climate is not favorable. If the weather condition is favorable, then this day will not be required. Overnight at a lodge in Kyanjin Gumba.

Day 10: Trek from Kyanjin Gumba to Lama Hotel 2410m/5 hours
It will take about four to five hours to descend back to Lama Hotel. We will descend slowly enjoying the beautiful views and alpine vegetation. The majority of the trek trail runs along the Langtang River. We will get the chance to explore and wander around the villages on our way. On reaching the Lama Hotel we will explore the village. Overnight at a lodge in Lama Hotel.

Day 11: Trek from Lama Hotel to Khangjim 2235m/5 hours via Sherpa Gaon
The Trail is mostly descended as we head to Kyanjin. A five hours walk along the forests and few settlements like Sherpa Gaon we will reach Khangjim. We will explore the small village, Sherpa Gaon and enjoy the local lifestyle and meal before heading towards Khangjim. We can still see the influence of Tibetan culture as we make way to our destination for the day. Overnight at a lodge in Khangjim.

Day 12: Trek from Khangjim to Syabrubensi 1503m/5 hours
The trail passes through the rhododendron and bamboo forests crossing some suspension bridge. The trail is descending so it will be easier for us to reach Syabrubensi. We are continuously accompanied by the beautiful landscapes and rich wildlife thriving in the forests as we return to Syabrubensi. You can spend the rest of the time recalling the feats we achieved during the journey. Overnight at a lodge in Syabrubensi.

Day 13: Drive from Syabrubensi to Kathmandu 6 hours by private vehicle
Enjoying the final view of the mountains and green vegetation we will retrace the same path along the Trishuli Khola in our private 4W land cruiser. On arriving Kathmandu we will transfer you to the Hotel for rest. You can opt to explore the city and shop for souvenirs to mark the end of your trip. Overnight at a 4-star Hotel in Kathmandu.

Day 14: Final Departure from Kathmandu
We will drive you back to Tribhuvan International Airport for your scheduled flight to your destination.
