ITINERARY
Day 01: Arrival at Kathmandu 1,338m
Our staff picks you up at Tribhuvan International Airport upon your arrival and transfers you to hotel. Overnight at 5-star Hotel Hyatt Regency in Kathmandu.
Day 02: Full day Guided Kathmandu City Tour
After breakfast, our guide takes you for a sightseeing tour around Kathmandu valley visiting UNESCO listed World Heritage Sites that includes Swayambhunath, Boudhanath, and Pashupatinath. You can take the recommendation from the guide and enjoy a delicious lunch or dinner of your choice, not inclusive in the trip package. At the noon, there will be a pre-trip discussion where we can meet our trek leader and other team members brief you regarding your trek as well as provide you opportunity to ask any questions you may have regarding your upcoming adventure. Overnight at 5-star Hotel Hyatt Regency in Kathmandu.
Day 03: Fly from Kathmandu to Pokhara 820m/25 minutes, drive to Phedi 1,130m/1 hour and trek to Dhampus Village 1,650m/3 hours
We catch our early morning flight to Pokhara from Kathmandu. After a 25-minutes scenic flight to Pokhara, we take an hour-long drive to Phedi relishing the roadside view. Upon reaching Phedi, we start our first day of trek towards Dhampus village ascending through the rhododendron forest on a stone staircase. We continue our trek through a plain dirt road to finally reach Dhampus village. From the lodge, there are sweeping views of the entire Annapurna Range and Machhapuchhre as well as Dhaulagiri I. Overnight at a luxury-lodge MLN in Dhampus.
Day 04: Trek from Dhampus Village to Majgaon 1,600m/4 hours
Today, we trek through densely forested trail filled with rhododendron and oak trees until we reach Pothana from where we can see the amazing view of Machhapuchhre (6993m). We continue to trek through the village of Patlekhet followed by the path of sub-tropical forests full of orchids, rhododendrons, and magnolias. Upon reaching the village of Majgaon, we can see the tribal-style houses and manicured gardens. Overnight at a luxury-lodge MLN in Majgaon.
Day 05: Trek from Majgaon to Landruk 1,565m/5 hours
Leaving the beautiful village of Majgaon, we trek through the side of the hill with gradual ups and downs, passing through some villages and farmlands, before reaching the Gurung village of Landruk. Landruk offers a mesmerizing view of the Annapurna range. Overnight at a luxury-lodge MLN in Landruk.
Day 06: Trek from Landruk to Ghandruk Village 1,940m/4 hours
Today, we head towards Ghandruk village descending to Modi Khola on the stone staircase. Crossing the bridge over the Khola, we continue to climb through steep stone steps to finally reach the picturesque village of Ghandruk. Ghandruk is a largest Gurung village from where the up-close view of Annapurna South (7219m) and Machhapuchhre (6993m) can be seen. Later, we take a short tour of the village and visit traditional Gurung museum and the Buddhist monastery. Overnight at a luxury-lodge MLN in Ghandruk.
Day 07: Trek from Ghandruk to Syauli Bazaar 1,220m/3 hours and drive to Pokhara 820m/2 hours
Leaving behind the Gurung settlement of Ghandruk, we head towards Syauli Bazaar, walking down on the stone-paved staircase. Following the trails of Modi River, we pass through the terraced fields and forests enjoying the amazing view of the surrounding valley in the background. We drive back to Pokhara. Overnight at 5-star Hotel Pokhara Grande in Pokhara.
Day 08: Morning Hike to World Peace Stupa
We take a pleasant early morning hike to World Peace Stupa which offers a panoramic view of the Himalayas including Manaslu (8156m), Dhaulagiri (8167m), Machhapuchhre (6993m), and Annapurna (8091m) along with the beautiful scenic view of whole Pokhara valley and Phewa Lake. We then hike down to Phewa Lake through the forest and take a boat ride on the lake. Overnight at 5-star Hotel Pokhara Grande in Pokhara.
Day 09: Fly from Pokhara to Kathmandu 1338m/25 minutes
We catch our morning flight back to Kathmandu with amazing views of the Annapurna, Lamjung, Manaslu, Langtang and Ganesh Himal ranges throughout the flight. We transfer you back to the hotel in Kathmandu. You can spend the day resting and relaxing or strolling around the markets to buy souvenirs to take back home. Overnight at a 5-star Hotel Hyatt Regency in Kathmandu.
Day 10: Final Departure from Kathmandu
After having breakfast in hotel, we drop you off at Tribhuvan International Airport approximately 3 hours before scheduled flight back to home or other destination.
